Your Urgent Suspected Cancer Referral

Your GP surgery has arranged for you to have tests or see a hospital specialist which should be within 2 weeks from the date you are referred. This is to investigate your symptoms, find out what is wrong and if it could be cancer. 

9 out of 10 people referred this way are NOT diagnosed with cancer, but if you are, early diagnosis and treatment are very important. You will get your appointment as soon as possible. Your first appointment may be over the phone or at the hospital.
